How to ... make a My Documents shortcut icon for the desktop By Margaret Ann x8253
  1. Left click on Start at bottom left corner
  2. See My Documents at the top of the list
  3. Left click and drag My Documents to anywhere on the desktop
  4. Right click on Shortcut to My Documents.
  5. Left click on Rename near bottom of list.
  6. Type "My Documents" right over the blue highlight.
  7. Now when you want to easily reach My Documents which has your files in it,
just left click on the My Documents icon.
